Europe is home to some of the most successful tech companies; from the likes of Spotify to deep-learning tech company DeepMind, which was acquired by Google. The European tech ecosystem however has limited exposure when it came to the burgeoning Indian tech ecosystem, and this is changing. Startup Europe India Network (SEU-IN), a tech-corridor connecting the European & Indian digital markets, is organizing an European tech ecosystem delegation to visit the Delhi/NCR and Bengaluru startup hubs 17-20 October 2016.
The composition of the European delegation of c. 25 participants include top venture capitalists such as EQT Ventures, OGC Partners, v|t global, and the European Commission, EU’s executive arm, and law firms, research centers, and interesting initiatives such as the Estonia e-Residency Program and more. With the next phase of Startup build-up in India in the fintech, IoT, data analytics, Smart Cities, artificial intelligence, media, and entertainment, SEU-IN is working to facilitate the opportunity for the Indian startup ecosystem to collaborate with the European tech space. The VSI delegation visit is organized by SEU-IN, in close collaboration with the Startup Europe initiative and the European Union delegation to India.
