The startup updates for the day:
- Real estate content portal PropStory – Realty Insights, has raised an undisclosed sum of money in angel funding.
- Matrix Partners India has invested in the fin-tech startup ZipLoan.
3. Skillenza (formerly known as Venturesity), which helps enterprises in hiring talent, has raised $722K in seed funding led by Blume Ventures and Indian Angel Network. - Apple that recently introduced wireless charging to its smartphone lineup has acquired New Zealand-based firm PowerbyProxi for an undisclosed amount.
- eBay got a 5.44% stake in India e-commerce marketplace Flipkart, in exchange for selling its eBay India business and the cash investment ($725M) it had made in the former earlier this year, according to eBay’s quarterly report for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.
- William Tang, chairman of China-based Fosun Capital Investment & Management Co, Ltd, has joined the board of Gurgaon-based ecommerce logistics firm Delhivery Pvt. Ltd, reported VCCircle.
- Gurgaon-based contract automation startup SpotDraft has raised $550,000 in seed funding led by venture capital firm Hunch Ventures.
- Skybox Security, Inc., a global leader in cybersecurity management, announced today the company signed a definitive agreement to receive a $150 million growth equity investment led by CVC Capital Partners’ Growth Fund (CVC Growth) for $100 million, with participation from Pantheon for $50 million.
- Online grocery startup Bigbasket has raised $5 Mn (INR 32.65 Cr) from Helion Venture Partners.
- Softbank-backed adtech firm InMobi chief marketing officer Arun Pattabhiraman quits, reported VCCircle.
